State Laws Regarding Publication of Annual Statements
The State of Colorado Annual Statement for Publication — Form S — is required for every insurance company doing business in the State of Colorado pursuant to Section 103-3-109.
Section 103-3-109 requires every insurance company doing business in the state of Colorado to submit to the commissioner a report on or before the first day of March in each year, signed and certified by its chief officers, of its condition on the preceding thirty-first day of December. A synopsis of such statement, together with the commissioner‘s certificate of authority to transact business in this state, must be published in some newspaper of general circulation, published at the state capital, for at least four insertions. Such publication shall be made within thirty days after such certificate of authority is issued, and a copy of the paper containing such publication shall be filed in the office of the commissioner.
